Help with buying online from Snowden's of Haworth.

We have a simple 3 stage process for buying online: Stage 1 is where you browse our catalogue and add items to your basket.  Our systems allows 12 different items per transaction.  Stage 2 is our preliminary checkout where you can view and review what you have in your basket and delete items if required.  If you decide to purchase you move to stage 3 which is the secure payment checkout where you give PayPal your contact and card details.

Stage 1- The Catalogue and Shopping Area

Our catalogue is divided into a number of categories - jackets, trousers etc.  You can select the category that you wish to browse by using the menus at the top of each page  Our products in the category chosen are shown on the page, each with a small photograph.  Here you can place the item in your shopping basket.  Click on the Show details button for more details about the item.   Please note that this fuller description may give you important information about sizes.  A brief summary of your basket contents is shown on the top right hand side of each page.  If you want to purchase, or remove, items then you must first procede to our checkout by selecting the CHECKOUT button on the right of the page......

Stage 2 - Checkout and basket review

CHECKOUT

This preliminary checkout page gives you a summary of your order.   You can access this page from any of our catalogue pages by selecting the CHECKOUT button positioned at the right hand side of the page.  At this point you can review your order or, if you wish, remove items using the appropriate REMOVE button.  You can return to your previous catalogue page by selecting the CONTINUE SHOPPING button or to any other page by using the menus at the top of the page.

If you wish to purchase the items in your basket, you can do by using a debit or credit card using the PayPal secure server.  Please select the PROCEED TO CHECKOUT button to move to the PayPal secure checkout website.

Please note that the prices on this site are for UK delivery.  If you wish to purchase goods for delivery outside the UK then please read our Terms and Conditions page.

Stage 3 - Secure Payment, enter details

Once on the PayPal server you will need to enter a number of details in order to purchase by using debit or credit card.  If you are already a registered PayPal user then you will need to enter your username and password and then follow the PayPal instructions.  Otherwise you will need your email address, the Cardholder name and address, the card details and the Delivery name and address.  PayPal accepts payment for online orders by credit or debit card from all major UK cards.  Please follow the instructions presented by PayPal.  PayPal will forward the order and your contact details to us, but not the card details.

Please note that we reserve the right not to deliver to a Delivery Address that is different to the Cardholder Address, in which case we will consult with you at the email address you supply, and will refund any money paid if we do not resolve any concerns we might have.

To ensure compliance with the Offensive Weapons Act 1996 we will not deliver knives to any address other than that of the cardholder.

Provided that your card is authorised, you will receive an email from PayPal confirming your order.  We will also receive the order confirmation.  When we receive the order we will send you an email, during our normal office hours, to tell you.

If your card is not authorised you will see a "sorry" message.  We not be able to process the order.  If you find yourself in this situation then please feel free to email us for advice.

Delivery

When we have received your order we will dispatch your goods using a standard 3 day carrier service.
